Term 3 Week 3 : Review 5 and Review 6

here's Review 5 and 6.

Review 5
1.     No sooner had the bears left for a walk than Goldilocks made her way into their home.
2.     The cake was baked in half an hour after I put it in the oven.
3.     While Alex was taking his violin lesson, his sister was at an art competition.
4.     As far as the teacher knew, Erica was absent from school on that day.
5.     Farid practised his singing till 3a.m. for he wanted to win the first prize in the talent contest.
6.     The Queen was the fairest among all the ladies in the land.
7.     In order to get her three children a good education, Mrs Teo worked two jobs to send them to prestigious schools.
8.     To our astonishment, we found that our supervisor had been embezzling money from the company for the past two years.
9.     Before brushing her teeth, Grandma removes her dentures.
10.                         Between Eva and her sister, Eva is more matured.



Review 6
1.     As soon as the recess bell rang, Reuben rushed out of the classroom.
2.     If you practise the game often, you will master it.
3.     As though ashamed of himself, David hid his face.
4.     As long as you promise to return the book, I will lend it to you.
5.     Mum gets infuriated whenever Zachary is lazy.
6.     Keith is a very sociable person whereas Ken is more private.
7.     Not only is my new maid cheerful, she is also intelligent.
8.     Instead of squandering her money on branded luxury items, Kathy would rather donate it to the poor.
9.     My roses bloom when the weather is cool.

10.            Sheila looks tired as if she had a bad night.
